How to Teach Story Elements for Middle Schoolers with the Word Nerd


Can you remember all seven story elements? I can! Character, conflict, climax, setting, theme, point of view and resolution! I cover this foundational concept at the beginning of each school year. With a mastery of story elements students can better understand the stories they read and also learn the parts they need to include when writing a story of their own.
